 How to choose the right NFC chip?

NTAG 213

Robust and reliable, this is the reference NFC tag of the sector and will pefectly fit every all your NFC projects.

NTAG 216

NTAG 216 also belongs to the quality standard but can contain more data and information. It is a perfect fit for your NFC business cards.

Mifare Ultralight

Mifare Ultralight NFC chips are basic and cheap chips as they are able to store a small amount of data such as one short URL or an ID. Thus, this type of NFC chip is particularly adapted to projects requiring a high volume of tag for a low cost, or for projects like identification systems which require small storage capacities.

 What type of NFC tags does Unitag offer?

Unitag's standard offer includes two different types of NFC chips (Ntag 213 and Ntag 216) in a standard format: round stickers, printed or not, and up to 29mm/1.14 inches, which contain a pre-encoded short URL which can be managed from Unitag platform.

 NFC tags settings

NFC kits shipped by Unitag are locked (reading only is allowed) and encoded with a short URL. However, depending on your project and the way you’d like to use your NFC tags, you may need NFC chips unlocked (reading and writing is allowed), and encoded with a static URL or another type of information (like an ID).
